Ka-Lai Chan (*1985, NL) graduated in 2009 from the Utrecht Academy of the Arts, The Netherlands. As a Dutch Designer of Asian origin, she mixes cultures, materials and forms in an unique signature style. Ka-Lai has her own exclusive furniture and product collection, which has been presented in various galleries, international design fairs and exhibitions in USA, Italy, Germany, France and The Netherlands. She is the founder of Ka-Lai Chan Design, a studio specialized in designing interior products and delivering work for various design labels, hotels, restaurants and other clients.

"Through my creations I want to uncover the hidden value of ordinary objects and material, letting people look at the beauty of things and experience them in a different way, which they normally wouldn't have noticed."
